How to Remember anything easily:
Very few people of the world have good memory. Some people a lot of trouble because of having memorizing power. But there is noting to worry with your low memory. I am describing a method; if you follow it you may increase your memory power. It’s not a joke; you can follow the method.
Keep in mind that anything you wish to remember must be associated with something you already remember. I’ll give you 16 thing you can memorize once and always tie new things to them.
However, the following one is so simple because each object is selected to represent only one number for a definite reason and it can represent only one number. You will not have to count through the entire list to figure out which number meant by which object.
For No.1, picture a magician’s wand. A wand standing upright looks like the numerical.
For No.2, picture a swan. With a little stretch of the imagination, a swan looks like the figure 2.
For No. 3, I usually picture a three-leaf-clover.
For No. 4, you can picture anything with four leg table, a chair or a four legged animal.
For No. 5, Picture a fiver-pointed star.
For No. 6, picture an elephant’s trunk, curved to look like a 6.
For No. 7, a flag, waving in the breeze.
For No. 8, picture an hourglass.
For No. 9, a man’s pipe standing on its stem.
For No. 10, picture a bat and ball. The bat represents the digit1, and the ball represents the zero.
For No. 11, my original picture of a clock stopped at 12:00 O’clock.
For No.13, you can picture someone walking under a ladder.
With the little “memory aid” that I’ve given you for each object, you should have no trouble to remembering them easily. Practice until you know them in and out of order. Here’s the list once more.
